This week we celebrated the International Day of the Girl! Where girls globally are celebrated for what they contribute to society. It’s important for us to know about the challenges girls face globally, but what about in our own country? What are some of the challenges Canadian Girls face?

- 9 out of 10 Girls say they feel pressure to be thin
- 50% of Girls in grade 6 are on a diet
There is so much pressure for girls to act and behave a certain way in Canada. At SHINECanada, our primary focus (right now) is raising confident girls who know their personal worth strength and purpose. We do this by providing the SHINE curriculum to girls all around Ontario and beyond.
