We just finished a TASTE OF SHINE in Barrie!
The community, friends, and family were invited to attend and learn more about SHINE and how we are helping young girls become confident leaders. During the evening we talked about the core fundamentals of SHINE – strength, worth, and purpose and how the course and camps teach and emphasize these fundamentals in a fun and uplifting way.
Allie, ran the event and gave us this report.
“The SHINE event was amazing!! There were probably 60-70 people there and they were so engaged and so into it. We had a big group of volunteers and coordinated ALL the food, oh my goodness, I just can’t get over how talented and amazing they are.”
“Oh and three of young girls who did SHINE presented activities – one did the money example, two did an emotional intelligence role play. They were outstanding! Represented SHINE so well. I’m so proud!”
