Congratulations to the SHINE Team for pulling off a sensational inaugural Spring Fundraiser! All expectations were greatly exceeded. The recently restored 19th Century Global Warranty Head Office venue set a high bar for an expectation of elegance and sophistication. Each of the over 100 guests was treated to a fabulous pairing of wines from around the world with a delectable morsel of regional appetizers. The soothing sounds of the Uptown Dixieland Jazz Band floated through the building adding an air of fun and frivolity.

“Great to see you again tonight! – Just returned from your incredible fundraiser!
Let me start by saying, I met the host: Roy Neufert, and complimented him on his absolutely elegant offices! Congratulations to you for pulling off this superb event! I was greeted by two lovely hostesses, one of whom was Roy’s daughter, and the other was Madison’s sister. They took all of my money! – No, they did a wonderful job of explaining the details.
The sweet sound of Ed’s Jazz band vibrated throughout the venue. – By touring this lovely remodelled and tastefully decorated villa, I worked my way through the 5 stations with expertly selected wines from different countries, as well as the delicious food pairings. – For a couple of hours, it felt like I was in heaven, at least, I think, that what it should be like up there, don’t you?
I can only imagine, how much planning went into the execution of this incredible evening, well-done guys! – I hope it’s a successful fundraiser for you! – Madison did an eloquent job with her Shine club presentations. And, I caught up with Bonny Hardy, whom we will welcome at our Zone meeting in Aylmer on the 19th of this month.
