This summer SHINE held two beautiful summer camps for girls between the ages of 9-13. The two-day summer camps were held at Living Hope Church in Lucan with 20 girls in attendance. The SHINE Optimist Club partnered with the Lucan Optimist Club to see girls reached in this community.
The feedback received from the camp showed that the girls really enjoyed learning about their worth. Girls learned that their value is intrinsic, it’s not dependant on what others think or say about them, but it is about who they are .
